Frank Avenue Civic
- The Frank Avenue Civic Association of Edgemere is my local civic organization.
The site is a very simple one, announcing the upcoming meetings, and events of interest to the community.
We also try to get some of the new neighbors involved in civic activities, such as beach cleaning and such.
I choose the Joomla format, because it is expandeble, and at a later date, if people show interest we can add more activities.
Jamaica Bay Barnowl project
- This is not the first time I am caught in the recession fallout. The barnowl project is an ongoing project. I go out with Don Riepe and the banding team
each year and help with the barn owl and osprey banding. It was a good excuse to fool around with some flash. Adjust your sound, these babies shreek awfully loud.
Do no harm - is not good enough
- Last but not least: I am the founder of the Norton Basin Edgemere Stewardship Group.
